techno music under a harvest moon
dance in your own world
let your soul soar free
dance until your legs won't hold
until your arms can't move
dance until your heart is damaged
all the love is gone
and when the music stops and
the light is coming up
dance your way on home
i'll be waiting
love
I found this poem in one of my notebooks. I thought it was pretty cool.
A glorious figure floated from the sky.
The brilliant angel landed lightly next to me.
A stream of light illuminated his body:
an image of perfection in itself.
His white wings embraced me, shielding my heart.
A word he then whispered, from God himself,
"Love."
I woke to the morning sun softly gracing my face.
The beauty was fading and I longed to remember the angel's Word. The command
God game me now lies lost; buried in
my soul.
So, I have six new poems you guys haven't seen but I didn't know which one to pick. None of them really stuck with me, so I suppose none of them are really my favorites. Three of them are basically the same poem. Still, I wrote them and they will all probably make it up here eventually. I'll just post chronologically. Do you want them all tonight?
my friends are like a warm blanket
wrapping me in warmth and love
my family is like a pair of fuzzy furry cozy socks
the best accessory on a cold day
my love is like a heater
our bodies make fire
