I didn't even realize I hadn't posted in days. I've got a poem for you. Oh, I almost had a heart attack there. I though I lost this note that I write poems on during school. Which means someone somewhere in school would be having access to my personal thoughts, and I would have lost all my work. Really scary thought. Anyways here's that poem
his eyes are truly windows
bare for all the world to see
with every shade a different scene
one of passion next righteous anger
the love for you and me
his eyes are truly windows
with one glance you can see
a soul among souls
his heart on his sleeve
Okay so I just read this again and I don't think it really conveys everything I was trying to say.Oh well, hope you guys like it.
standing six foot high
he calls attention to the nighttime sky
gloriously radiant in the darkened night
you can see his childish smile
peace fills cerulean blue eyes
he grins at you then
with one great sigh says
"No one pays attention to the moon."
it's a one track sorta thing
so you read it.
Did anything change?
I didn't think so
Did you have a good time?
Hey! look at the sky tonight
I've never burned so bright
This post is dedicated solely to mothers. I wrote the poem for my mom on mother's day a couple years ago.
A mother teaches everything
from how to love,
to how to pee.
She teaches you how to be
the very best person
you can be.
It's time now to give back
to a mother that loved
and cared
Say I love you Mom,
for that's all a mother
wants to hear.
